Nest Seekers International celebrated Bastille Day with a Bastille Day “A La Rose” event in Water Mill on Saturday, July 14. The event was a collaboration with The Hamptons French Club and East End Taste.
The Suffolk County Historical Society Museum will be transformed into a children’s museum during “Kids Week” from April 24 through April 27.
The museum signage will temporarily be re-interpreted for school-age children, and touch-table educational play stations will be available for hands-on experiences. There will also be the “Historical Play Room,” where children can dress in colonial garb and play with old-world games, toys, and crafts. On Wednesday and Thursday afternoon, there will also be live music featuring historic songs of Long Island.
Admission is $5 per adult and free for children. For more information, call 631-727-2881 ext. 100.
