If you were looking for a gift that not everyone else gives, Ashawagh Hall in East Hampton was the place to shop last weekend, at the 21st annual By Hand Artisans’ Holiday Gift Show, held December 14 to 15. Shoppers had the opportunity to choose from a variety of unique hand-made creations by local artisans, including toys, objets d’art, skin care products, jams, candles, cookies, and much more.
Winter break and fun for kids at the Suffolk County History Museum. The museum signage will be temporarily reinterpreted for school-age children. Dress in colonial garb, historic role-playing, old-world games, toys, and crafts. Scavenger hunt with prizes all from Wednesday, February 19 thru Saturday, February 22 from 10 AM to 4:30 PM. Free admission for children and $5 per adult. Complimentary cookies & juice will be offered.
