East Hampton Library held its annual Free Children’s Fair on Sunday, August 11, in Amagansett. Free food, clown shows, popcorn, authors of the latest children’s books, amusement rides, and plenty more made for a day of classic family fun.
WSHU essayist and author David Bouchier will be at the Rogers Memorial Library in Southampton on Thursday, September 19, at 1 PM for a talk titled “The Real South of France,” in which the author will recount experiences from his travels in the country. The library will host a birth year dinner party on September 19 at 5:30 PM. Participants are asked to research a popular recipe from the year they were born, prepare it, and bring it to the library to share. Reservations are required.
