The New York Jewelry Design Institute presented “Facet: Hamptons,” a fine jewelry designer showcase, for one day only on Saturday, July 28, at the Bridgehampton Community House. The NYJDI pioneers modern programming in jewelry design education, with a focus on entrepreneurship. The Bridgehampton event featured a blend of emerging student designers, alongside established jewelry designers, for a boutique shopping experience highlighting unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry.
There will be a public sale of the works of artist Beryl Bernay-Kossovskaya on Friday, July 19, and Saturday, July 20, from 10 AM to 4 PM at 18 Neck Path in East Hampton. Many of the diverse selection of paintings and photographs by the long-time Springs resident were inspired by her United Nations foreign correspondent assignments. Other works reflect her love of the area’s light and ambience, while some included pen-and-ink sketches of Paris, New York City, and her 1940s fashion designs.
