In a show of girl power, more than 100 young ladies participated in the i-tri Mentoring Day at the East Hampton Middle School on Saturday. Enthusiasm was high as the girls participated in mentoring sessions with women well established in their business fields. The event was sponsored by i-tri, which is an eastern Long Island community based program with a mission to encourage young girls to become more self-confident, live healthy life styles, have positive body images and self-respect, and feel personally empowered.
The East Hampton Library offers an Alzheimer’s support group from 11 AM to 12:30 PM. The Alzheimer’s Association Long Island Chapter has established the Caregiver Support Group of East Hampton, which will meet the second Tuesday of each month. Build a support system with people in your area who understand Alzheimer’s Disease.
