Puppy love filled the air at the Amagansett American Legion Hall on Saturday, as the East Hampton Lions Club held its First Annual “Pints & Pups” fundraiser benefiting Guide Dog Foundation, with a portion of the proceeds going to ARF.
Physical therapist and East Hampton Lion Dr. Rachel Lys, owner of EH Physical Therapy in Montauk, presented the club’s $2500 check to the Guide Dog Foundation.
People brought their dogs of all breeds, to show off, run around, and compete for awards in various categories, including most unique breed, most unique feature, floppiest ears, best tricks, dog/owner look-alike, and best dressed. Receiving Best in Show was a Belgian Shepherd. Humans enjoyed a day of food and drink, live music, ice cream, face painting, and dog treats and toys to give their furry friends.
