LongHouse Reserve’s annual season opening, Rites of Spring, was held on Saturday. During the opening, the amphitheater was renamed in tribute to the late playwright Edward Albee. Academy Award winner Mercedes Ruehl, of Springs, performed the opening scene of Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf with fellow actor, Harris Yulin.
