Saturday, September 1, was a day for classic family fun, as “Kids’ Day” at The Hampton Classic was presented by News 12. People on stilts, face painting, silly shows, farm animals, pony rides, and more, were the order of the day. Besides the horse competitions, for the grownups, there were unique shopping opportunities and panel discussions, including one by CANA Foundation, whose specialty is “rewilding” (rescuing) America’s wild horses.
“Change Your Diet, Change Your Life: Nutrition for Good Health,” the fourth installment of Eastern Long Island Hospital’s Community Health Education Series, will be held at the Halyard restaurant in Greenport.
Seating is limited. There is no cost to attend. For more information and to register, call ELIH’s Foundation Office at 631-477-5164.
