Suffolk County History Museum:

Winter break and fun for kids at the Suffolk County History Museum. The museum signage will be temporarily reinterpreted for school-age children. Dress in colonial garb, historic role-playing, old-world games, toys, and crafts.  Scavenger hunt with prizes all from Wednesday, February 19 thru Saturday, February 22 from 10 AM to 4:30 PM. Free admission for children and $5 per adult. Complimentary cookies & juice will be offered.

Group for the East End:

Join Group for the East End at Hallock State Park on Saturday, February 22, 12 to 2 PM and 2:30 to 4 PM to make your very own bird feeder wreath. Create a hang-able and bird-friendly feeder that can be added to any landscape. All materials will be provided except bundt cake baking pans. A $5 materials fee due at the time of the program. Space is limited to 20, so sign up as soon as possible. For reservations, please contact Taralynn Reynolds at treynolds@eastendenvironment.org.

The Southampton Artists Association presents its “Winter Art Exhibit” of painting and photography at the Levitas Center for the Arts in the Southampton Cultural Center. An opening reception will be held on Saturday, February 22, from 4 to 6 PM. The show runs through March 1.

MM Fine Art in Southampton presents “Artists of The Ross School.” The show features artwork by Jennifer Cross, Daniel Donovan, Chris Engel, Lutha Leahy-Miller, Alexis Martino, Jon Mulhern, David Slater, Ned Smyth, Sherry Williams, and others. There will be an opening reception on Saturday, February 22, from 5 to 7 PM. The show runs through March 15.
