The  Friends of the Hampton Library are please to present Walter Isaacs on August 17 as part of the Fridays at Five Series.

Walter Isaacson’s most recent biography, Leonardo da Vinci, a New York Times best seller, offers new discoveries about Leonardo’s life and work, weaving a narrative that connects his art to his science.

Among Isaacson’s other books are The Innovators: How a Group of Hackers, Geniuses, and Geeks Created the Digital Revolution, Steve Jobs, Einstein: His Life and Universe, Benjamin Franklin: An American Life and Kissinger: A Biography.

Isaacson is a Professor of History at Tulane and the president and CEO of the Aspen Institute, a nonpartisan educational and policy studies organization based in Washington, DC. He has been the chairman and CEO of CNN and the editor of  Time magazine.

Admission is $25. Beverages & hors d’oeuvres are served. Seated is limited, especially if weather forces the program to be indoors.
