The Old Town Arts & Crafts Guild in Cutchogue is opening its 2019 season with an exhibition of more than 85 original watercolor paintings depicting north fork wildlife by students in eighth grade from Mattituck Junior Senior High School, under the direction of art teacher, Dina Rose. From 1 to 1:30 PM on Saturday, April 13, there will be a presentation by Rose and art student Alex Koch followed by a reception with light refreshments and musical entertainment by George Corky Maul. Also on Saturday, April 13, a children’s watercolor workshop with Melissa Hyatt will be held for second through fifth graders from 11 AM to 12:30 PM. A donation of $10 each can be made and materials are included. Register with Lee Harned by emailing leearthar@yahoo.com.
