On Affordable Housing

The League of Women Voters of the Hamptons will host a forum on “Affordable Housing: Needs and Availability” at the Hampton Library in Bridgehampton on Monday,
June 17, at 7 PM. The panel will consist of Diana Weir, the director of housing and community development for Southampton Town; Curtis Highsmith Jr., the executive director of Southampton Housing Authority; Catherine Casey, the executive director of the East Hampton Housing Authority; and Tom Ruhle, the director of the East Hampton
Town Office of Housing and Community Development. It will describe the varieties of public and private affordable housing, affordable housing needs and availability; and the types of funding that can be tapped into for housing.
