Renate Aller

When: 05/24/2019, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Parrish Art Museum collection artist and photographer Renate Aller will discuss her recent, fully illustrated monograph “Mountain Interval” with Museum Director Terrie Sultan on Friday, May 24, at 6 PM at the museum. Following the talk, Aller will sign copies of the book, which features 61 images from the series that capture majestic mountain ranges in Alaska, Switzerland, Italy, and Nepal, plus an essay by Sultan. Photographs from “Mountain Interval” are on view through July 28 as part of the artist’s exhibition “Renate Aller: The Space Between Memory and Expectation,” and as part of Parrish Perspectives — a series of concentrated exhibitions that offers the Museum opportunities to respond spontaneously and directly to unique ways of thinking about art, artists, and the creative process.
