The South Fork Natural History Museum invites whale lovers to join SoFo staff and Stony Brook University marine biologists for a whale-watching cruise aboard Stony Brook University’s R.V. Paumanok at 10 AM. Around this time of year, whales are starting their long journey to the polar waters of the north in search of food. The trip offers possible sightings of humpback whales, fin whales, bottlenose dolphins, and many types of pelagic birds.

Advance reservations are required for all events. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, call 631-537-9735.
