The South Fork Natural History Museum will host the interactive program “Hands On: Shark Teeth, Tails, & Tales” with Greg Metzger for adults and children on Sunday, May 19, at 10:30 AM. Metzger, the chief field coordinator of SOFO’s Shark Research and Education Program, will bring a variety of real shark teeth and tails for participants to see and touch, as well as teach visitors what they can discover by examining the characteristics of these marine animals. The program is free for SOFO members. For non-members, the fee is $15 for adults, $10 for children ages three to 12, and free for children under three. The program fee also includes admission to the museum on any day of the participants choosing. Advanced registration is required, which can be done by contacting the museum at firstname.lastname@example.org. For more info, visit the website at www.sofo.org.
