The Chamber needs your input to build a stronger business community

Supporting The Greater Good

The East Hampton Chamber of Commerce is excited to begin another season on the East End.

The Chamber would like to welcome all feedback that can help us move the conversation and necessary action to support year-round economic development in our region. During times of conflicting views, we reach out to our entire membership, and the community in general, to collect critical information to help us make educated decisions to support the greater good of our community.

With that said, our 2019 Business Survey is now up on the East Hampton Chamber of Commerce website (www.easthamptonchamber.com) to compile feedback from both Chamber members and non-members to help lead us into another exciting chapter of business collaborations.

We ask for your comments, feedback, suggestions, please. Did you attend the 2019 East Hampton Street Fair? Did you have a positive experience? Do you feel the community and non-profits benefited from the day? Do you support the fair? Should it be cancelled or moved to another location (Herrick Park)?

Do you own or work in a business in East Hampton Village and care to share your thoughts? Was it successful for you?

Please feel free to email your thoughts or comments to info@easthamptonchamber.com as well.

In conjunction with our elected officials and with completed business surveys in hand, we will have a new plan of action for the 2020 East Hampton Spring Street Fair by October 15.

Until then, we graciously ask that you become active in the process and share the survey with your peers. By doing so, we’ll maximize this opportunity to strengthen our community together.

This summer we will welcome the first ever East Hampton Summer Festival — Saturday, August 17, in Herrick Park, from 10 AM to 6 PM. It will feature over 35 artisans displaying handmade items and local artists displaying wonderful works of art.

Your favorite non-profits will be there to share their missions. Live music on our Main Stage will keep you dancing all day. Incredible food, homemade ice cream and desserts, and more will be available! There will be a YMCA Kidzone, featuring giant bounce castles, obstacle courses, games, face painting, and so much more. Stay tuned for more details soon!

Thank you for giving us your feedback. Want to make East Hampton a better place to live, work, do business, play, and thrive!

Steven Ringel is the executive director of the East Hampton Chamber of Commerce.
