Dog Thrown From Car In Riverhead




The Suffolk County SPCA is offering a $3000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for throwing a puppy out of a car in Riverhead.
The Suffolk County SPCA received a call on Wednesday, December 11, from an individual who witnessed a dark colored SUV toss an eight-week-old Pit Bull mix out of the vehicle at approximately 7 AM. The vehicle was heading eastbound on Route 25 near Calverton Cemetery. The first three letters on the license plate are TZR. The dog was transported to an animal hospital in Riverhead.
