Police: Massachusetts man took pants off, had coke on him

Bar Patron Cuffed For Lewdness

Southampton Town Police had their hands full with naughty bar patrons in Hampton Bays over the weekend.

A 27-year-old Massachusetts man was locked up for taking his pants off and masturbating in front of security officers at the Beach Bar in Hampton Bays early on Saturday, August 25, Southampton Town police said.

At about 2:25 AM Lucas Raynor, who is from Lowell, was thrown out of the bar and an officer, who was on patrol in the area, said he saw Raynor remove his pants and start masturbating in front of the bar. Raynor was then was found to have a small plastic bag containing cocaine, police said. He was charged with public lewdness and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors, and was held for morning arraignment at Southampton Town Justice Court in Hampton Bays.

Raynor was not the only patron allegedly caught with coke at the Beach Bar that night. Less than an hour earlier, police also charged a 24-year-old Shirley resident, Vincent Giordani, who was the passenger in a car in the rear parking lot, with drug possession. Police said Giordani was allegedly seen by an officer throwing a baggie of cocaine on the floor of the car’s center console. No further information was available from police about the bust, or the driver of the car Giordani was sitting in.

A third bar patron, at the Boardy Barn, was taken into custody after police say he verbally abused several taxi drivers with obscene language, and refused to leave the area. Police said Robert Laub, 23, of Farmingville was charged with disorderly conduct, a violation, and when he was placed under arrest, tensed up and pulled his left arm away and began to thrash his arms about. An officer had to tackle him to the ground and subdue him, resulting in a second charge for misdemeanor resisting arrest.
