Tuesday, September 25, is National Voter Registration Day, and the League of Women Voters of the Hamptons will be out across 11 communities on the East End with voter registration forms and absentee ballot applications available in both English and Spanish.
Established in 2012, National Voter Registration Day is the fourth Tuesday in September. According to the LWV, many miss out on voting because they miss the deadline, or move or change their name without re-registering. LWV members will be available to answer questions and distribute non-partisan information on the election.
