ARF Award

The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons announced on May 15, that for the fifth year in a row it has been awarded the prestigious four-star rating from Charity Navigator, which is America’s largest independent evaluator of charities. Only 15 percent of charities in the United States have achieved this recognition. www.arfhamptons.org

Wartime Sisters’

Honeybee Friendly Yard

The Amagansett Library will host a virtual event with Deborah Klughers, owner of the Bonac Bees. Klughers shares how to make your yard honeybee friendly by introducing landscape practices and plantings that encourage the honeybee and other pollinators. Rogers Memorial Library

Although Rogers Memorial Library is closed, its programs are available, and all are invited visit its website to check out the calendar of events like English as a Second Language, or Knitting and Crocheting.
