Sag Harbor Cinema and Canio’s Books will be offering the film adaptation of Sag Harbor resident Susan Merrell’s acclaimed novel “Shirley,” beginning Friday, June 5. The novelist will appear in a conversation with Giulia D’Agnolo Vallan on Sunday, June 7, at 6 PM. The Amagansett Library invites those interested to join Chris Paparo in an underwater tour of Long Island on Wednesday, June 10, beginning at 5 PM. He will share his photographs and videos of local fish, crustaceans, and mollusks, while imparting interesting facts about the creatures you might encounter during a day at the beach.
