RHONY Real Estate
On last week’s premier of Bravo TV’s “Real Housewives of New York,” Hamptons real estate was the topic of conversation. Specifically, Bethenny Frankel’s Bridgehampton investment property, located at 2623 Montauk Highway.
Fellow cast member Ramona Singer, who owns a home in Southampton, questioned whether or not the purchase of the Montauk Highway home was a good investment. Listed through Sotheby’s, the current price tag for renting the home from Memorial Day through Labor Day is $175,000.
“Bethenny was fabulous to work with and saw the property as a great investment,” said Kathleen Conway of Town & Country Real Estate, who sold the Bravo celebrity the property in October 2017.
Originally listed for $2,950,000, and built in 1910, the former bed and breakfast is known as the Morning Glory House. The 4239-square-foot estate is situated on 0.60 well-manicured acres on the south side of the highway. The home underwent a major renovation under the guidance of architect Brian O’Keefe of BOKA, during which he set out to update all elements of the home and seamlessly merge the old with the new.
Frankel has jumped full steam into the world of luxury real estate. She has a new show, “Bethenny and Fredrik,” co-starring fellow Bravo star and real estate broker Fredrik Eklund. Together the two purchase investment properties in New York City that they later flip for a profit. Frankel purchased her first Hamptons home in 2013, also in Bridgehampton.
The Davis Team
Douglas Elliman has welcomed Jonathan Davis and John Giruzzi to the company. The agents, who together comprise The Davis Team, are based in the Bridgehampton office.
Davis, whose family name is well known in real estate circles, is an active member of the East End community. A Southampton local, he learned the business from his father, notably one of the top brokers in the country.
Coupled with his experiences, top-of-the-industry insight, and extensive knowledge of the landscape and the people who live, work, and spend time here in the Hamptons, Davis has become a highly regarded agent in his own right.
Giruzzi also has deep roots in East End real estate, having learned about development and land usage from his father’s business. The Southampton native, a member of the Rosko family, has a strong background in finance and investments. He lives in Sag Harbor with his fiancée, Amber, and son, Ashton, and their two rescue dogs, adopted from the Southampton Animal Shelter.
