The annual Jordan’s Run began July 29 at 8:30 AM. The race/walk honored Lance Corporal Jordan Haerter, who was killed in action on April 22, 2008. Jordan’s Run participants traveled through his hometown of Sag Harbor and crossed over the bridge named after him. Hundreds participated in the race to celebrate our veterans and to honor the sacrifices that they have made. This was the first of four races that will continue into the coming weeks that will recognize military service men and women.
